When my wife and I made the decision to relocate to the Raleigh, North Carolina area, we were referred to Nigel Terry through a friend of a friend. Any concerns we may have had about working with a realtor whom we had never met before were soon dismissed. Nigel immediately contacted us by e-mail and then by telephone to discuss our requirements for a new home. He immediately provided us with a comprehensive list of properties that met our search criteria and we were able to examine all of them carefully before making a house-hunting trip. After narrowing the list to about 15 homes, we made a week-long trip to search for the perfect one. Nigel only showed us homes that were within our price range and in the areas that most appealed to us. He presented them all fairly with their strengths and weaknesses and did not apply any pressure whatsoever to make a quick decision. He encouraged us to wait rather than make a decision that we would regret later. At the end of the week, however, we saw a home that had just come onto the market. Nigel arranged a quick showing and then a second one the next day. We both felt that this was the home we wanted as our own and made an offer that was accepted immediately. Nigel flawlessly took care of all of the home inspection details and the other required paperwork so that time deadlines of the sales contract were easily met. He was accessible to us virtually 24 hours a day during this whole period.
Throughout our search, Nigel exhibited the highest professional standards. He answered all of our questions completely and provided additional supporting information to aid our decision. His sense of humor reduced the tension level to the point where we did not feel unduly stressed and he was there at closing to make sure that our interests were fully protected. Even since closing he has continued to maintain contact to make sure that everything is going well. There is no question that we will ask Nigel to handle all of our future real estate needs. He earned our complete respect and deserves the greatest kudos!
